Lagos, Nigeria — June 2025
The Glorious Wealth Fund (GWF) has officially launched its nationwide financial education initiative, “Invest Smart Nigeria,” aimed at empowering citizens with the knowledge and tools to invest responsibly through AI-assisted systems.
Supervised by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria (SEC Nigeria) and guided by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), this campaign marks a major milestone in Nigeria’s mission to make the capital market inclusive, transparent, and technology-driven.
At the official launch in Lagos, Prof. Chuka Obianuju Okafor, Chief Strategic Advisor of GWF, emphasized that the campaign is designed to “make smart investing part of everyday life for Nigerians.”
“Our goal is to replace guesswork with intelligence — to help every investor, regardless of background, make informed decisions through AI-driven insights and regulatory protection,” Prof. Okafor said.
The “Invest Smart Nigeria” campaign will host a series of public seminars, workshops, and online courses across all six geopolitical zones. Participants will learn how to interpret market trends, manage portfolio risk, and utilize the Glorious Wealth Fund’s AI-based trading system to improve investment outcomes.
The initiative also includes a “Youth Financial Inclusion Program”, targeting university students and young entrepreneurs. By introducing early financial education, GWF aims to build a generation of investors equipped with digital literacy and financial discipline.
In partnership with local universities, financial institutions, and media organizations, the campaign will reach an estimated 500,000 Nigerians during its first phase. Participants will gain access to the GWF platform’s AI learning simulator, enabling them to practice investment strategies before entering live markets.
According to SEC Nigeria’s FinTech Innovation Department, the program demonstrates the country’s growing commitment to education-driven financial reform.
A statement from the department praised GWF’s initiative for “bridging the gap between policy, technology, and the people.”
The Glorious Wealth Fund plans to expand the campaign to rural regions by year-end, integrating mobile-friendly education tools and local-language training modules in Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba.By promoting transparency, education, and technology, GWF’s ‘Invest Smart Nigeria’ campaign reaffirms the nation’s belief that financial empowerment is the foundation of sustainable prosperity.
